How To Block Ads Appearing In The Xiaomi Smartphones

All Xiaomi smartphone comes with MIUI interface. Due to the availability of customization this more popular among the Xiaomi smartphone lovers. Follow the path :

Setting - - > additional setting -- > Privacy -- > ad services . You will find “Personalized Ad Recommendation” disable it.

How to disable ad of the specific app.

To disable the ad appearing for the specific app go to its setting option and disable “receive recommendation” option. In some app, this option is not available in that case if it is workable offline you can turn off data connection for that app. This will not show you an advertisement.

How to disable ads from Mi File Explorer App:

To stop watching ads in the Mi File Explorer do the following :

Launch MI Explorer -- > Setting -- > Recommendations - Turn it OFF

You may not find the above option if the app is not updated. 

How to disable ads from Mi Music:

Launch Mi Music App and do the following

Go to Settings -- > Advanced Settings -- >Receive recommendations. Disable it. 

The above path is can be followed in Redmi note 3. For other models, there will be the slight difference in the path. 

How to disable ads from Cleaner:

Launch Security -- > settings -- > Cleaner -- > Receive recommendations - Turn it OFF!

This will stop to launch ads in the cleaner app. 

How to disable ads from Mi Browser:
If you are using default web browser from MIUI and want stop receiving ads then do the following:

Launch Mi Browser -- >  Settings -- > Advanced -- > block pop-ups

Or you can go with some third-party app available to download on the Google Play store.  

Why Xiaomi shows ads

This company sell its handset on low-profit margin compare to other smartphone makers. In short, to earn some profit it promotes advertisement with its stock apps like browser, security or file manager. The only good thing about it is that the company has given the option to disable it.
