Method To Save Smartphone Contacts To Google Drive, Local Computer Or Phone Memory

What if you have a not taken backup of your Smartphone data especially of contacts? This will create some kind of trouble if no more backup has been taken by you. To get back contacts, you have to start from the scratch by asking and number individually to the person who is in your friend circle or relatives. Especially, Businessman doesn't have enough time to perform the backup task. Even customer relationship manager has a large number of contact records collections in his phone. Entire work goes through that contact list. Think for the moment, if accidentally numbers are deleted then? His work may stop. In short all the kinds of people’s point of view it is important to have a backup of contact numbers so that they can get back their all old phone numbers. Here, I am going to share your information about the backup of the phone numbers diary.
In every Android phone or iPhone, there is option setting in the contact, if not appearing simply click on three dots which are located in the right top corner of your phone. Tap to the “import/export contacts”.
It will lead to the next screen where you will find “Export to storage”. Tap to the same option. The confirmation message about backup mentioning file path will appear. Tap to the ok. The phone numbers will be stored in a special format called “vcf”. Later, when you want to migrate your old numbers to any new device, just need to select import option from the contact setting and very next moment that list will be there in your phone.
Go to contact - - > Setting and tap to the “Share contact”. A popup will appear select “Share to Google Drive”. After that select a folder where you want to store that backup file. That’s all. Within a few minutes, your contact list file in the card (*.vcf) format will be uploaded on the Google Drive. A VCF file is a standard file format for storing contact information for a person or business.
Generally, almost all the manufacturer provides application like PC Suite to transfer phone data into the computer. All kind of data like – contacts, audio file, video file, SMS, MMS can be copied from the phone to a desktop or laptop computer.
Connect your phone to PC/laptop via USB port. Open PC Suite software. Look for Contacts. Click to export. It will ask for the location where you want to save the backup contact data. Enter the name and click ok button.
If your phone doesn’t come with any PC suite software, you can use any third party software which supports to the most of the phone for backup and restore purpose. Some of them are - Android sync manager WiFi, 91 PC Suite, MOBILedit, Moborobo, Mobo Genie, Dr Frone-Transfer, Droid Explorer and AirDroid.
And last, to say, connect the phone in “storage” mode with PC/laptop and copy the vcf file which has exported by following first stage steps and paste it in your computer at the desired location.
Some smartphone manufacturers also provide service of cloud storage for the limited storage. In short, you can upload vcf file on this locations. Generally, cloud storage is the best online backup solutions nowadays. Asus Webstorage, Mi Cloud, Apple iCloud etc are the some of the best options for their respective handsets.
