The social networking giant Facebook launched its app center at Germany in the last week. Facebook is accused by a consumer lobby group of breaching Germany’s privacy law. Facebook has given period of seven days to clarify it otherwise legal action will be taken against the company. Federation of German Consumer Organization said that Facebook farming out customer information without informing to its user that their data was being used.
That’s why the last date 4th September 2012 is given to resolve this issue. Just few days back there was news that Facebook was building a massive biometric database of its users without obtaining permission at Hamburg. It was a really serious issue. Right now there is talk going on with Facebook officials to resolve it. Last time Facebook had changed the entire user’s custom email id to Facebook email id without permission or notification. This news indicates that Facebook is not much serious with user privacy.
