By Jitendra Indave in: Gmail How to Mobile Send SMS Text Message On Thursday, July 05, 2012
While roaming in Gmail, I got information about sending free
SMS on mobile using Gmail chat service. It is pretty easy task here. Every user
gets 50 credits. Up to 50 national or international messages user can send. For
each sent message 1 credit will decrease. If, in return user receives replay
for the sent message credit increased by 5. Nowadays Aircel, Idea, MTS, Loop Mobile,
Reliance, Tata DoCoMo, Tata Indicom, Vodafone (In Delhi, Bombay, Kolkata,
Gujarat, A.P., Bihar, Assam, North East etc) are the operators those supports
to this service.
For the
rest of the world, supported
operator list can be found here. Follow the screenshot given below to send free message using
Gmail.
Step By Step
1. Click on your buddy name. click more and send SMS
2. Enter mobile number of the receiver and click on save
3. A chat box as shown below with credit remaining will appear. Type the message and press enter.
